Paul Laurie, M.B.A., ICADC
Paul Laurie graduated with Honours from the Human Services Program at George Brown College in 1990, after having specialized in Addiction and Mental Health Counselling. Paul is an internationally certified addictions counsellor and the past president of the Canadian Addictions Counsellors Certification Federation. Paul graduated from the Wilfred Laurier University School of Business and Economics with a Masters of Business Administration in 2002. Paul has more than 17 years of experience in the field of addictions. He has worked in all phases of the substance abuse continuum. He has experience with individual counselling, outpatient treatment, day programs, long-term and short-term residential programs. He has also developed corporate training in substance abuse and mental health and worked on training manuals, peer support programs and workshops for corporate clients in Canada, in his role as Director of Products and Services at Prodigal Community Services. Cardinal Counselling and Mediation is delighted to have the opportunity to work together with Prodigal Community Services to offer the Alcohol and Drug Day Treatment Program and Nicotine Cessation Program. Paul has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults. |
